Process
Initial Consultation
All our services begin with a free initial consultation to determine your requirements. This helps us gather information about your company, services, audience, purpose, site goals, and more.
Proposal
After you are confident we have addressed all your ideas, questions, and requirements, we’ll make recommendations and explain these options with the proposed pricing to deliver them. You’ll receive a formal proposal with the scope of work, prices, payment schedule, and contract.
Collecting Your Content
You’ll provide us with the text and any other content for your website, including pictures and graphics. We can provide you with access to thousands of royalty free stock photos. We also offer optional professional copywriting services.
Design
We’ll ask you to provide examples of websites you really like, colors, and your competitors’ websites if applicable. Once you provide that information to us, you will receive two design mockups and a navigation diagram to review very quickly thereafter. At this stage, you and the designer work closely to develop the final design. We send you a web link to view the mockup and ask if you would like any changes. You can request revisions as necessary before final approval.
Web Development
After receiving your final approval, we will then begin building the framework of the site, incorporating the design and all of the content that you provide.
Pre-launch Evaluation
After the site is built, you will be able to review a functioning version of your website to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. You can submit any desired changes to the copy and then give final approval before your site goes live.
Test and Launch
We test your website thoroughly on several browsers, check all links and review the site carefully before launch. When we receive final approval and payment, your website will be published on your domain, live, for the whole planet to see!
Ongoing Support
Webgrain is known for our superior support. We will continue to work with you after launch to accommodate your requests, user feedback, system upgrades and any new emerging web technologies that you would like to include.
